Gillian Needs, CHT has always been interested in the 'Power of the mind!'  Using visualization techniques in Sports, as well as excelling in Math and Sciences growing up.

Born in Duncan, B.C. in 1953 and raised in Victoria, B.C. definately  a West Coast Island girl.

 When studying Crimology, she became very interested in Sociology,Psychology, Comparative Religions and Native Indian studies. Later  on studied, Reflexolgy, Healing Touch, Huna, Millionaire Mind , Buying Real Estate '0' Down workshops, and John Kehoe's course.

 Working with Self-Hypnosis tapes, and visualization techniques, Gillian won many awards in sales (including Real Estate), and eventually ran her own successful business, for over 13 years.

Gillian spent the majority of her adult life as a single parent, with one of her children being profoundly deaf. This child was taught that she could do anything she set her mind to , and was not taught the word 'can't'! Her deaf daughter,  grew up winning Scholarships and became Valedictorian at Royal Roads University.

When Gillian suffered from a stress-related illness,  the Doctors prescribed conventional medicine which only exasperated her symptoms. This is when she realized her mind had returned to western conditioning and belief systems, old patterns of thinking !

 She subsequently returned to Alternative Health Practices and found relief through Hypnotherapy. It is for this reason she became a Hypnotherapist, as she of all people knows, what Stress can do to our bodies!
